Why Beeswax?

What makes beeswax so special?

Beeswax is a natural material made by honeybees. Bees create beeswax to form their beehives. When harvesting honey from a beehive, beeswax is leftover from the comb where honey was stored. This beeswax can then be filtered to remove any remaining honey and debris and used to make candles and a number of other natural-based products.

Beeswax burns very cleanly and does not produce any residues, like soy or paraffin waxes. It also has a wonderful, earthy aroma all on its own, no additives needed!
